1. I am interested in working for the City of El Monte. How do I find out about vacancies and apply for a job?: All job openings are posted on the city website under employment. Online applications are accepted by simply clicking the “Apply” button that is located in the top right corner of each vacancy announcement. An applicant will then need to create or log into their Government Jobs account to submit their application. If you have any questions or require any assistance, please contact the Human Resources/Risk Management Department at 626-580-2040.
